You opt in by texting UTAH to our number from your mobile device. By opting in, you agree to receive automated recurring text messages from Utah Base about local news, events, and recommendations.

Message frequency varies based on your requests and digest preference. Choose daily or weekly morning digests during setup, or change anytime by replying 4 or DIGEST.

Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Opt out

Reply STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE, or CANCEL to any Utah Base message to stop receiving texts. Reply HELP for assistance or UTAH to re-join after opting out.

What we collect

When you text Utah Base, we store your phone number and any preferences you share — such as zip code, lifestyle interests, and digest frequency — to personalize local recommendations and scheduled digests.

We do not sell your phone number. We use it solely to operate the SMS program described in our Terms of service.

How long we keep data

We retain your phone number and preference settings while you remain subscribed. If you opt out, we keep a record of your opt-out status to honor future requests. Aggregated usage data may be retained for service improvement.
